Dhikr, adhkār, the Names of Allah, the Qur'an and the sayings of the Salaf — help and support
Tadhakkar is an app for the remembrance of Allah, on iPhone and on Android: a dhikr counter, wird programmes, the prophetic invocations sorted by occasion, the Names of Allah, the Qur'an in facsimile, a saying of the Salaf every day and a compass towards the Qibla. It works offline, asks for no account and contains no advertising.

This is the most useful message you can send. Every invocation in the app carries its source — the collection, the number and the grading, with the name of the scholar who graded it. If you notice a faulty vocalisation, an inaccurate reference or a misreported grading, please say so: name the screen where you saw it and, if you can, the source you believe to be correct. The correction will be studied and published in an update.
Yes. The Qur'an, its facsimile pages, its tafsīr, the invocations, the Names, the sayings of the Salaf, their translations and their recitations are all embedded. Only two things need a connection: the coloured script of the muṣḥaf al-tajwīd, if you turn that option on in the settings, and the recitation of a verse of the Qur'an, if you ask for it.
Yes, on your device. On iPhone and iPad, if iCloud is on, they are also backed up to your private iCloud account and follow your devices. On Android, they stay on your phone, and may be included in your private backup if Android's backup is on. The app's author has no access to them — see the privacy policy.
Ten: French, English, Arabic, Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Turkish and Urdu. It follows your device's language by default, and the language can be changed in the app's settings.
A saying from the first three generations awaits you every day: 71 in all — 33 Companions, 28 Tābiʿūn, 10 from the generation that followed them. Each carries its translation and its source: the work, and the volume and page where they are known; in Arabic, the app displays the vocalised original. You can keep the ones that strike you as favourites, share them as an image, and be reminded on the day a new one is waiting.
The muṣḥaf is available in the riwāya of Ḥafṣ and in that of Warsh, at the 604 pages of the printed book. A coloured tajwīd variant is offered for Ḥafṣ. The tafsīr is al-Mukhtaṣar.
First check that notifications are allowed for Tadhakkar: on iPhone, in Settings ▸ Notifications; on Android, in the phone's settings, on Tadhakkar's own page (the exact path differs from one phone to another). Then check that the reminder itself is enabled in the app's settings. Reminders — those for your wird as well as the one for the saying of the day — are local: your device schedules them itself, no server is involved.
Yes, at the same address. An invocation is only added if it is authentic and can be sourced; weak ones are deliberately left out, even when widespread.
